Eternal Twilight -päätapahtuma pidetään ylväässä Paasitornissa meren rannalla (osoite: Paasivuorenkatu 5 A, 00530 Helsinki). Paasitorniin on helppo saapua esimerkiksi Hakaniemen metroaseman kautta. Kuvissa näkyvä upea juhlasali on varattu käyttöömme.
Historiallisesti arvokas rakennus valmistui vuonna 1908. Sen on suunnitellut arkkitehti Karl Lindahl ja tyyliltään se edustaa myöhäisjugendia. Paasitorni rakennettiin rakennuspaikalta louhitusta graniitista. Rakennus toimi aluksi työväentalona ja sittemmin kongressi- ja kokouskeskuksena.
Eternal Twilight´s main event will be held at the grand Paasitorni next to the sea (address: Paasivuorenkatu 5 A, 00530 Helsinki). Paasitorni is easily accessible through the metro station of Hakaniemi. The gorgeous banquet hall (as seen in the pictures) has been reserved for us.
Paasitorni means “standing stone tower”, a fit name for the castle like building. The historically valuable building was completed in 1908. It was designed by the architect Karl Lindahl and represents Empire style. The building was constructed from the granite that was mined from the site. The building functioned originally as a people´s house and later as a congress and meeting center.
