Haluamme varmistaa, että jokaisella lolitamuodista kiinnostuneella on mahdollisuus osallistua tapahtumiimme. Pyrimme sitoutumaan turvallisen ja kunnioittavan ilmapiirin luomiseen ja ylläpitämiseen sekä ottamaan huomioon vierailijoidemme erilaiset tarpeet, kokemukset ja näkökulmat mahdollisimman ennakkoluulottomasti. Odotamme kävijöiltämme samaa, emmekä täten salli syrjintää terveydentilan, sukupuolen, sukupuolen ilmaisun, seksuaalisen suuntautumisen, iän, etnisyyden, uskonnon, kulttuurin tai muun syyn perusteella.

Toivomme jokaiselta tapahtumiimme osallistuvalta kunnioittavaa käytöstä myös toisia kävijöitä kohtaan. Ethän siis pilkkaa, ivaa, halvenna, sysää syrjään tai nolaa ketään puheillasi, käytökselläsi ja teoillasi. Pyri kunnioittamaan muiden kävijöiden henkilökohtaista fyysistä ja psyykkistä tilaa, äläkä koske muihin kävijöihin tai heidän omaisuuteensa kysymättä lupaa. Osallistuessasi tapahtumiimme sitoudut hyvän maun mukaiseen käytökseen tapahtumien aikana. Helloconin järjestäjillä ja tapahtumapaikan henkilökunnalla on oikeus tarvittaessa poistaa häiriötä aiheuttava kävijä tapahtuma-alueelta.

Ilmoitathan meille, mikäli kohtaat tai todistat syrjintää tapahtumassamme, jotta tilanteet voidaan ratkaista mahdollisimman turvallisesti. Tapahtuma-alueelta löytyy häirintäyhdyshenkilö, jonka tarkemmat tuntomerkit jaetaan lähempänä. As inclusivity is of utmost importance to us, we want to ensure that everyone interested in lolita fashion has the opportunity to take part in our events. Therefore we commit to creating a safe and respectful environment, as well as taking into consideration the different kinds of needs, experiences, and perspectives of our guests and visitors in a manner void of prejudice and judgment. We expect the same kind of behaviour from our attendees, and thus do not accept any kind of discrimination on any grounds, be it in terms of health, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, religion, culture or any other subject.

We hope that each and everyone attending our events will meet others with respect, and will generally also display respectful behaviour and good manners. So please do not mock, ridicule, shame, push aside or embarrass anyone in speech, or by your actions ir behaviour. Please also respect the physical and mental boundaries of other attendees, and do not touch others or their property and possessions without permission. By attending our events you commit to exhibiting good behaviour and manners during the events. The organisers of Hellocon and the venue staff have the right to remove any attendee causing any form of disturbance or distress from the venue if necessary. 

Should you be met by or witness any kind of discrimination, please inform us immediately so that we can solve the situation as safely as possible. A staff member designated to deal with disturbances of any kind is stationed at the event, and their physical features will be announced closer to the event. This person can be contacted before the event through email at inclusivity.hellocon@gmail.com, and during the event by visiting the information desk or meeting them in person. 

Esteettömyys / Accessibility

Usein tapahtumamme järjestetään vanhoissa historiallisissa rakennuksissa, minkä takia tilojen esteettömyyden ja saavutettavuuden takaaminen ei aina onnistu täydellisesti. Pyrimme kuitenkin ottamaan kyseiset tekijät huomioon.

Labyrinth of Dreams -tapahtuma järjestetään Vanhassa Ylioppilastalossa. Esteetön sisäänkäynti löytyy Kaivopihan puolelta. Lauantain päätapahtuma järjestetään kahdessa kerroksessa. Myyntisali ja muotinäytökset sijaitsevat Ylioppilastalon ensimmäisessä kerroksessa, joka on pyörätuolilla saavutettavissa. Myös inva-wc sijaitsee ensimmäisessä kerroksessa.  Luentosali ja taidekuja järjestetään toisessa kerroksessa, joka ei ole valitettavasti täysin esteetön. Pyörätuolilla toiseen kerrokseen pääsee hissin avulla, missä Ylioppilastalon henkilökunta auttaa tarvittaessa. Autamme mielellämme, joten pyydäthän apua tarvittaessa!

The Hall of the Goblin King -iltabileet ovat esteettömät. Pääsaliin pääsee sekä hissillä että portaita pitkin. Iltabileet ovat luonteeltaan rajummat kuin päätapahtuma, joten odotettavissa on kovia ääniä sekä mahdollisesti myös vilkkuvia valoja. Osassa illan esityksistä käytetään savukonetta. Tiedossa on myös vaihtoehtoista rauhallisempaa ohjelmaa, josta kerromme tarkemmin ennen tapahtumaa. 

Sunnuntain Thé à la Titania -teekutsut järjestetään Vanhan Ylioppilastalon esteettömissä tiloissa.

Avustajaa tarvitseva voi hankkia avustajalle ilmaisen sisäänpääsyn lauantain päätapahtumaan sekä The Hall of the Goblin King -iltabileisiin. Avustajan tulosta on ilmoitettava ennakkoon sähköpostilla osoitteeseen inclusivity.hellocon@gmail.com. Sunnuntain Thé à la Titania -teekutsuille avustajalle on hankittava erillinen lippu, sillä tapahtumaan sisältyy tarjoilu.

As our events are often held at locations in old, historical buildings the accessibility cannot unfortunately always be fully guaranteed. We do, however, strive to take measures to ensure these factors are taken into account. 

The Labyrinth of Dreams event is held at the Old Student House, where an accessible entry can be found through the entrance by the Kaivopiha side of the venue. The main event on Saturday takes place on two floors of the building. The vendors’ hall is located on the first floor, where all the fashion shows also will take place, and this floor is accessible by wheelchair. The accessible lavatory is also located on the first floor. The lecture hall and artist alley are located on the second floor, which unfortunately is not fully accessible, but with the aid of the venue staff at the Old Student House the elevator can be accessed by wheelchair as well. We are more than happy to help, so please don’t hesitate to ask for assistance!

The evening party, The Hall of the Goblin King, is accessible: when entering the main hall both a flight of stairs and an elevator are at one’s disposal. As the nature of the evening party is a bit on the rowdier side, please expect some loud noises, as well as potentially some blinking lights. Some of the performances also include the use of a smoke machine. We are also organising an alternative, more peaceful evening programme, which we will share more details about in the near future. The tea party on Sunday, Thé à la Titania, is held in an accessible area at the Old Student House. 

Those in need of an aide can acquire a free entry for their assistant for the main event on Saturday and for the evening party, The Hall of the Goblin King. The assistant’s attendance has to be informed in advance by emailing us at inclusivity.hellocon@gmail.com. For the Thé à la Titania tea party on Sunday the aide has to purchase a separate ticket for themselves, as the occasion includes food and beverage service.
